The Chinese Embassy Holds Symposium with Representatives of Chinese companies

  On 19th, December, Ambassador Yang Honglin and Commercial Counselor Li Yanlin attended a symposium with more than 40 representatives from Chinese companies based in Saudi Arabia. The participants reviewed their companies' conditions and discussed the roadmap for their new development in Saudi Arabia.

  Ambassador Yang delivered an important speech by giving prominence to the robust development and all-round progress of the Saudi economy in recent years while highlighting the unprecedented opportunities faced by Chinese companies to fully utilize the markets and resources both domestically and internationally and perform the strategy of going-out. He placed high expectations on the Chinese firms here in Saudi Arabia to grasp the precious opportunities at the time when bilateral relations have been making great strides forward. He encouraged them to promote mutual cooperation to a new height by proactive endeavors towards challenges and difficulties. He aslo put forward four requirements guiding the future development of the Chinese companies here in Saudi Arabia. Firstly, to enhance the awareness of serving the overall situation, promote the interaction between economics and politics in order to safeguard our national interests. Secondly, to build up the awareness of renowned brand, strengthen the internal management and formulate the enterprises' image of good faith and performing duties according to laws. Thirdly, to uphold the awareness of reciprocity and win-win cooperation in order to consolidate the good social impression of Chinese enterprises. Fourthly, to promote the awareness of safety, improve the communication channels and contingent mechanisms.

  The participants responded positively and promised to take immediate actions in the spirit of the requirements to push forward the bilateral economic and trade relations.
