President of Saudi Aramco expressed his wish to further Saudi-Chinese energy cooperation

    On February 18, the Chinese Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Yang Honglin met with H.E. Mr. Abdallah Jum'ah, President of Saudi Aramco, in Dhahran. They exchanged views on promoting Sino-Saudi energy cooperation.

    Mr. Yang denoted that energy cooperation between the two countries served as the cornerstone of mutual strategic friendship. China attached great importance to the role played by Saudi Arabia in the energy sector and would like to further consolidate ties with its Saudi counterpart in this regard.

    Mr. Jum'ah expressed his warm welcome for Mr. Yang's visit to the Headquarter of Saudi Aramco. He spoke highly of the ongoing cooperation between the two countries' energy enterprises while denoted that Saudi Arabia would like to make concerted efforts with China to promote mutual energy cooperation to a new height.

   Saudi Aramco is an integrated energy giant comprised of oil & gas prospecting, exploitation, refining, transportation and sales, with the largest oil & gas reserves, production and sale volume in the world.
