Secretary General of the Saudi Supreme Commission for Tourism expressed his wish to strengthen Saudi-Chinese tourist cooperation

  On February 3, the Chinese Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Yang Honglin met with the Secretary General of the Saudi Supreme Commission for Tourism, H.R.H. Prince Sultan. They exchanged views on promoting Sino-Saudi tourist cooperation.

  Mr. Yang denoted that Sino-Saudi cooperation had been developing rapidly with tangible results in the care of both countries' leaders. China appreciated the great achievements made by Saudi Arabia in modernizing its national economy while attached great importance to the vital role played by Saudi Arabia in maintaining regional peace and stability. He stressed that China was a big tourist country with an ancient civilization and abundant tourist resources while extended his warm welcome to Saudi citizens to visit China.

  Prince Sultan spoke highly of China's outstanding achievements in economic development and Saudi-Chinese relations. He denoted that Saudi tourism had just been in the ascendant with unique natural and cultural landscapes. The Saudi supreme Commission for Tourism would like to promote cooperation with its Chinese counterparts and further understandings between the two peoples.
