On February 3, the Chinese Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Yang Honglin met with the Board Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company, H.R.H. Prince Alwaleed. They exchanged views on promoting Sino-Saudi cooperation in the areas of trade and investment.

  Mr. Yang denoted that Sino-Saudi cooperation enjoyed very bright prospects based on sound political relations and strong economic supplementarity between the two countries. He stressed that the Chinese government encouraged cooperation between enterprises from both sides. He also extended his warm welcome to Prince Alwaleed for investing in China.

  Prince Alwaleed pleasantly recalled his meeting with President Hu Jintao in 2006 while lauded the great achievements made by China in modernizing its economy. He also denoted that his company was highly optimistic about China's future economic development and would like to expand investment in China respectively.
