Saudi Minister of Civil Service expressed his wish to enhance cooperation with China

  On January 15, the Chinese Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Yang Honglin met with the Saudi Minister of Civil Service, H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Fayez. They exchanged views on strengthening Sino-Saudi friendship and cooperation.

  Mr. Yang denoted that China and Saudi Arabia had enjoyed profound friendship while both countries had stepped into a critical stage of development. He emphasized that it was in conformity with the fundamental interests of the two countries to deepen mutual communication and cooperation in various fields and learn from each other. China would like to push forward mutual cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the areas of administration and the cultivation of civil servants.

  Mr. Al-Fayez spoke highly of the great achievements of China's reform and opening-up while highlighted the vital influence of China in international affairs. The Saudi government expected to further Saudi-Chinese relations and learn from China's successful experiences. The Saudi Ministry of Civil Service also would like to enhance mutual cooperation with its Chinese counterparts in various forms and make further contribution to the development of bilateral strategic friendship and cooperation.
