On November 29,  The Chinese Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Yang Honglin met with His Royal Highness Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs. They exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional and international issues of common concern. Referring to the Middle East issue, Prince Faisal spoke highly of the equitable position upheld by China. He also expected China to continue to play a positive and constructive role in easing the current tension and striving for a fair and lasting solution of the issue at the earliest date. He emphasized that Saudi Arabia would like to strengthen the mutual coordination and cooperation with China on the issue.
