I. To reduce the potential risk of cross-infection during connecting flights through multiple countries, the Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia or Chinese Consulate-General in Jeddah no longer accept HS/HDC code applications for passengers going to China from Saudi Arabia via connecting flights from 3rd December, 2020. All passengers flying from the KSA to China must choose the direct flight-SV884.
II. From now on, all passengers planning to take the flight SV884 to China must take a nucleic acid test at a medical institution designated or recognized by the Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia or Chinese Consulate-General in Jeddah at least 14 days before boarding, then enter a closed loop of self-quarantine after obtaining a negative test result.
III. From 2nd March 2021, foreign passengers are required to upload the following materials when applying for a "HDC" code online.
1) negative nucleic acid test result at least 14 days before boarding the flight;
2) negative nucleic acid test and IgM anti-body test results within 48 hours before boarding the flight;
3) passport information page and visa page;
4) itinerary of air travel;
5) COVID-19 vaccine certification (if necessary or required by the Embassy's or Consulate's examiners).
